Time to close Unfinished Business (Mercury retrogrades into Taurus)

So, I Have some good news and then even better news!

Good News: You’ve survived half of Spring’s Mercury Retrograde!

Better News: From today on, you’ve got a second chance to revise matters and decisions you’ve made around last days of April, as Mercury returns to Taurus, and is going to revisit all the cosmic spots it has already been travelling through three weeks ago.

When things go backwards…

Thanks to so-called “pop culture astrology” most of you are probably familiar with the dreaded “Mercury Retrograde” periods, which occur on average 3 to 4 times a year. As Mercury - the Lord of communication, technology and travel - starts to (or rather appears to) move backwards, many of his domains are going slightly haywire as well. Typical astrological advice for retrograde period comes down to:

expect electronics to get broken but don’t buy any new ones, unless you truly must;

calculate delays into everything you do;

postpone sealing deals and signing contracts;

prepare for miscommunication and misunderstandings;

hide in a bunker and wait until Mercury goes direct ;)

And yes, at its worst, Mercury Retrograde can be a real pain in the ass (especially for those, who like to have everything under control and have a hard time going with the flow), but once you give it a little love, it can turn into a great source learning and wisdom.

Going back in time

Mercury started its retrograde movement on 10th of May in Gemini. Since then, it has been slowly backing up and today (23rd of May) it has re-entered Taurus, finding itself in the exact same position as it was at the end of April.

Try to go back in time and recall what was on your mind, under your pen and on your tongue during the last days of April. Now, the Cosmic tides may push you back to those days and ask you to reconsider your action - and maybe, to even change your decisions.

How to give a little love to “Mercury Retrograde”?

Instead of succumbing into anxiety about all the things that may get delayed or postponed, try to focus on following mental exercises:

Revisit and reflect.

Redefine. Change your mind.

Correct. Edit. Redo.

Embrace the idea of second chances.

Tie up lose ends and close unfinish businesses.

Happy Mercury Retrograde!

*Mercury retrograde will last until 3rd of June 2022. It will reenter the sign of Gemini on 13th of June, 17:26 CET
