Mars in Capricorn: Freedom Convoy 2022 aka Why you shouldn’t mess with Canadian Truckers

When I think about Mars in Capricorn, what instantly comes to my mind is Captain America and his famous catch phrase: "I can do it all day long". Mars, a malefic planet with a bad rap, has a great ability to fire up anger, conflicts and our worst impulses; however if it finds itself in Capricorn placement, his "aggressive" energy tones down and manifests as driven, determined and steady instead.

(So if you have any "mountains" to climb on in the next six weeks, you can count on cosmic winds to boost you up with stamina, resilience and discipline.)

Mars - like any other planet - has its "favorite" zodiacs where it feels the strongest and Capricorn is one of them. While Aries and Scorpio give Mars the God-of-War type of vibes, Capricorn makes out of Mars a strategically thinking General of an Army. Plans, calculations, blueprints - all kinds of great scheming is going to come easy to you. Use this time to start new projects and implement strategies - especially in your working environment - however you may wait until both Venus and Mercury turns direct (29.01.and 03.02. respectively) to go full speed.

You may feel an extra motivation to focus on all the" Capricornian topics'' - career, prestige, climbing the corporate ladder or just building something solid and long term - so open up your notebook and sketch out the grand strategy for your professional life. In the upcoming next six weeks, imagining and organizing all the necessary steps to reach goals is going to feel like “second nature”, so use this time to focus on what's really important or on tackling difficult, unpleasant tasks in your life

(Do your taxes. Plan a big kitchen makeover. Send documents. Handle administrative tasks.)

And remember - as we are in Aquarius season - all the "out of the box" ideas are having higher chances to succeed!

How does Mars in Capricorn show up in the world?

If you see protests, manifestations or civil disobedience of any kind, be sure that Mars is involved - it's either "fired up" by a friendly Zodiac placement or a planetary aspect (for example, Black Lives Matters Protests in 2020, triggered by the appalling death of George Floyd and intensified by Jacob Blake passing, were stretching in US through all the summer and autumn, while Mars have been "trapped" in Aries for whooping 6 months, due to retrograde movement).

"Mars in Aries" protests are very volatile and combustive - people take it spontaneously to the streets, ignited by a sparkle of anger; you may expect to see riots, fire (!), violence and all kinds of brute force involved (for example, Kenosha Unrest Shooting).

"Mars in Capricorn" social unrest will manifest differently; it is still determined and willing to stand up for itself but in a quite different way - and a perfect example for that is Freedom Convoy 2022, a movement that emerged a couple of days ago in Canada.

After the government's announcement that cross-border truck drivers are required to have a va-cc-ina-tion, Canadian truckers decided to protest - but not in a "let's march the streets" fashion. Instead, they've agreed to meet up in Ottawa on 29th of January and demonstrate - right in the heart of a Capitol. The challenge is: Canada is a huuuuuge country and it's not that easy to "just" gather everyone in one city, with temperatures reaching down to -25 degrees so MASSIVE organizational efforts have been made to help everyone who wants to join. Navigating, guiding and keeping 50 000 truckers informed for 10 days straight until they reach their destination, is a task that only Mars in Capricorn could take upon it’s shoulders!

Use this energy wisely and use well: Mars will stay in Capricorn until 6th of March!
